Standing on the bank of the frozen Mississippi River one cold, brittle evening a sixth-grade boy with music on his mind realized that, more than anything, he loved the guitar. Inside of himself he was hot with sounds that burned to be heard while his fingers kept moving. As this child beat a path home that winter night, the ice cracked on the river and all the way down to New Orleans a small wave began. From rock, to blues, to reggae, to classical, to jazz, a child grew to refine a guitar tone, a guitar melody, and a sophisticated combination of rhythm, of melody, and of smooth Boday jazz.

He has a groove and a sound. Boday's Jazzzz offers a unique combination of intriguing arrangements, distinctive rhythms, and haunting tones. Rooted and grounded in his experience of the river, he has created melodies to form three CDs: "Boday," "Do You Know" and "French Vanilla." With a growing reputation as "the Midwest's Smooth Jazz Artist" and with his melodies winding south along the riverbanks to cities everywhere, over fifty radio markets across the nation have added Boday's Jazzzzz to their daily programs.
